"GPS could be better"
I really wanted to like halo, but the GPS has been kind of frustrating. Sometimes it shows my dog in the wrong place, and then this thing takes a while to update. There were a few times where the fence alerts came late, or just didn’t come through at all, which makes it hard to really trust it. When it works, it’s fine and all that, but for the price I just expected it to be a lot more reliable.

"Battery Issues Are So Frustrating"
I’m disappointed with this. The battery barely makes it through half the day, and charging it is such a hassle. I have to wiggle the charger around just to get it to start charging, which gets really annoying fast. For what I paid, I expected way better
"Good enough, but the monthly price hits at the wrong time"
HALO has been okay for me overall. It’s not something I’m blown away by, but it does what I need most of the time, and the site is simple enough to figure out without much hassle.
The main thing is the monthly cost. Maybe it’s just bad timing with everything else getting more expensive right now, but it feels a little steep for what I’m actually using. If I were on it every day, I might feel differently.
I’ll probably keep it for now, but I do wish there was a cheaper option or a bit more included in the plan. It’s decent, just not quite the great value I was hoping for.

and after a bit of a learning curve, this has worked out well for us. The training actually helped, and our dog is staying safely in the yard. The setup was a little confusing at first, but once we figured it out, it’s been solid

"I had to reach out to..."
I had to reach out to halo.com support because I was having trouble logging in. they got back to me faster than I thought they would, and the issue was fixed without a bunch of unnecessary back and forth. It did take a little while to walk through the steps, but they explained everything clearly. It wasn’t a perfect experience, but I left feeling taken care of overall, so I’d give it a solid 4 stars.

"I got it set up quickly..."
I got it set up quickly, and the app is simple enough to use. So far it works fine, but I’m still not fully convinced about the overall quality. I’ll need to use it a bit longer to see how it holds up.
